Peace.

What would you fight for?

If we want 'PEACE'... we must BE Peace ! This is difficult. There are many opportunities to FIGHT. 'Our World' is an example of much 'Fighting'. When one dog chases and fights another... we quickly loose track of who started the mess in the first place. We are very challenged to not contribute to 'fighting'. I've been experimenting with avoiding 'FIGHTING' for a while now. I think it is the better way. We must BE PEACE to have PEACE !

Working, endeavoring, wrestling with,struggling... are different than fighting ?

That said... it's a 'struggle' (not 'fight') sometimes to maintain this path. And yes, I would fight to preserve lives and well being of my friends and family.

Destiny.

Do you believe in Destiny?

I believe in choice. One could be on a path to a certain destiny and one choice can alter that path and take them to another destination. It only needs to be a tiny vibrational difference and the path can be altered tremendously.

Karma.

What do you believe about karma?

Intention matters.
If you intend to cause harm, but don't, it counts. That desire to cause pain harms you and those around you. They can feel it even if they can't identify or explain it.
If you intend the best for those around you:
  • safety,
  • love,
  • courage,
  • strength,
  • honesty,
  • flexibility,
  • creative energy,
it affects them like warm breeze.

The Bridge

What was the last experience
that took your breath away?

This video called The Bridge on Godtube.com where a father is forced to choose between saving his son or a train filled with passengers!

I found it quite moving and profound!

Daily Prayer

Dear Heavenly Father,

I surrender to you today. I surrender my mind, body and soul, completely and without attachment. I surrender all of my past and all of my future. I surrender all of my fears and all of my beliefs as well. To you I give my love ones, my family and my friends. Be with them this day, in their lives and in their hearts. Heal and strengthen us all with your love.

Thank you father for everything, for giving me life and making me a part of this epic adventure of human experience. Thank you for your overflowing love and abundance. And thank you for always being with me, as my teacher, my guide, my father and my friend.

Your loving son,

Joke.

Can you tell a joke well?

I can't even if my life depended on it! Some folks are gifted at this, creative expressions and the climax all leading to the punch line. All this theatrics makes a joke good even if it is a groaner!

I can't remember them either, even the real good ones and even when I beg myself too…I just can't! Than I do the worst of all, try to repeat it anyway and hack it up and lead with the punch line! Than I try to recover by saying something like, “trust me, it was really funny!”

Change.01

Have you successfully changed something about yourself?

Yes. I am in constant flux. Evolving is the way I see it. Always trying to better myself. I think the most important thing I have changed is the way I see myself. I have become less critical and more forgiving of myself. I have actively worked on being myself.

Have you noticed how some people will try to break you down when you change, even if it is for the better? And, more importantly how others will support you in this?

Acceptance. [Reprint]

I was wrong.
I won't deny it anymore :)
I did like you..the little seed of love did sprout. I like you.
You don't know this.
You are smitten with another man, and I accept this.
It does not hurt anymore.
I love you..as a friend.
But maybe one day, if it is meant to be, our paths will cross again.
If it is meant to be, it will be.
I accept this..and it feels great.

Blind.

What would it be like if you couldn't see?

I think my imagination would be even more wild than it already is!
Without the ability to actually see,
I would use my extra good sense of hearing to listen to my world.
My mind's eye would become my sight... trying to piece together a realistic reality.
Knowing me, things would get a little "wild" sometimes, as my imagination has a little bit of a dramatic flair!

Listen.

What makes it hard for you to listen,
or to truly hear what someone else is saying?

Selfishness
the first word that comes on my mind and immediately thought of a definition for that word, but can't remember its author;
” A selfish person is one who is completely devoid of any consideration for the selfishness of others.”
