I can still remember...
...the first time we talked. It's phlegmatic and I was not even excited but I am just eager to know you and be my friend.
...it's been four months since the first time we met - the first time when I see you smiled at me. It was a relief because I was in trauma that time.
We've been very good friends since then.
...you were there when I am so disheartened just to feel me better. I felt the silent comfort of your presence.
...our first flight together, I am at sixes and sevens that time -- there's this question hanging in my head that asking me " Are you just a friend ? "
And Yes, you are a friend but also my lover.
...the first time you said "I love you" and the first night we kissed. I will never forget that wonderful night.
...the first time you did only just for me and with the trust you have given me that moment - I've never felt so much love.
...that you lied. Yes, you lied. It's not that you lied outright. I know and understand why you did. It doesn't hurt me anymore. I have moved already. You know what I mean.
I've never felt a connection like this before.
Felt so good, Felt so right.
No inhibitions.
Love comes later when two people meet and start knowing each other well.
It's so beautiful to develop this love and nurtured it well until it sprout naturally.
I miss you : )

T R E E
I do believe that we plan our lives before we came here, however, I also believe that plan is more like a huge tree with many branches than a linear destiny, so how our lives turn out is still a matter of free will. We can be great or small in any given lifetime. The possibilities are there for both and everything in between.
I think the tree trunk and the main center portion of our tree is our most likely path. We place lessons along the way for ourselves. But at any moment, we could veer off onto a branch. Some branches are wide, others are tiny and narrow (but can be very rewarding). Some branches cross over others, allowing us further choices, and some branches have dead ends (literally).
And then there are times when a soul has so exceeded it's own expectations for that lifetime that a new path is negotiated by the higher self even while the person is in a body already.
I do not feel that this interferes with free will at all. We can make any choice at any time, and also we are the ones who made any choices that seemed pre-destined (like who our parents are).

When I Look At You
Inspiration comes from many places.
One should never be limited in seeking sources of inspiration.
To see the smile of a child, hear the songs of hope, appreciate the art of the dancer, the majesty of the eagle soaring so high.
Never put limitations on your visions.
To achieve the impossible, one must recognize the challenge and all things that are possible.
Soon we shall see that nothing is impossible.

I realized that...
We should not allow our thoughts to be enslaved by mundane and senseless things, and instead find time seeking for wisdom which our troubled and disheartened minds reject.

The Past.
there's no sense in revisiting past events --
things that had left disturbing emotional scars --
-- because past is past and there is no way to change it.
let bygones be bygones, let pain be a living lesson of the past.

Dinner at Home.
There are millions who don't understand why you're still unmarried despite your age, your difficulty to make ends meet toward yourself and your large family - as if getting married is the only option one has to take in his lifetime. They either tag you as gay, selfish, or irresponsible. People in this lifetime can be too cruel and insensitive.

Light Bulbs
These days light bulbs come in all shapes and sizes,
and they make them really hard to change.
Some are way up high and out of reach.
Some get pushed, and others screwed in.
Some burn out, when you want them on.
All I want is some illumination
But what I find is dark frustration
Why can't I live in perfect light?
Why can't I grow without a fight?
I want to glow, I want to shine
But I refuse to change
This light bulb of mine
The only way to see the light
Is the good switch inside
The glow of change is to do what is right
So, change your bulb,
Take that step
Be your star And don't forget
The key to change is love of self.
Then shine your light, On someone else...

Petiks
i'm not doing anything dito sa office. it's both a relief and unnerving at the same time. kasi pag may work, super stressful. pero pag wala, i can't help but think if it's because of my inefficiency and ineptitude that prevents my bosses form giving me work, especially if everyone around me is so darn busy.
shudder the thought.

Let Us Celebrate!
Everyday should be a celebration of your Life.
As a celebration itself is already manifestation of happiness and reaching one's satisfaction you could celebrate anything.

It is so wonderful moment to moment.
It's beauty is beyond words.
It's diversity is amazing.
The air we breathe, the water we drink, the earth we walk on, the love we have in our hearts.
And this day is another opportunity to be a light in my own and someone else's life.
This day is another opportunity to serve in whatever large or small way contributes to make a difference.
I celebrate this day ... and every day that I get to be me here now.

Going Out Of My Head
"People mistakenly assume that their thinking is done by their head; it is actually done by the heart which first dictates the conclusion, then commands the head to provide the reasoning that will defend it."
~Father Anthony De Mello
The heart says “I want this, this is my desire” and the head says, “No you don’t” and the heart says “Yes I do” and the head says “Don’t (sticking out tongue)”.
Yes, I know how that seesaw feels!
Usually for me it’s because I’m not yet clear about my desire.
But when I am clear then I move in that direction and the head follows.
It’s interesting when our head and heart is not expressing complimentary tones creating that dissonance that can feel like grinding gears.
I hope we find that harmony right now.

~Father Anthony De Mello
What I want most is a harmonious relationship
between my heart and my head.
between my heart and my head.
The heart says “I want this, this is my desire” and the head says, “No you don’t” and the heart says “Yes I do” and the head says “Don’t (sticking out tongue)”.
Yes, I know how that seesaw feels!

Half Orange.
Sometimes I find just the right words that others have written and they help me along through my journey and my difficulties.
I found them here in Blogosphere.
Meaningful relationships with others gives me the most satisfaction;
My most rewarding experiences come through sharing either in presence, or in writing, and connecting with the thoughts, ideas, emotions, essence, and presence of another.
I always feel a keen sense of accomplishment when my writing has taken me to a place that I needed to go and did not know it.
I love discovery and not just through my words.
Sometimes I feel the words of others are traveling towards me, seeking me as their target, as if my need for the right words, the right ideas, the right thought to take me to my next level of existence and knowing is calling out to them to find me.
Well, here's a little bit of a dilemma that I have come across and wonder about.
If we are attracting into our lives what we need, then other are attracting us into their lives because of what they need.
I am always unsure of what my right action is when the relationship is turbulent, or I am not happy, or they are not happy.
It seems if both are not willing to “evolve", then we have to go our separate ways.
It is complicated and probably would take an entire book.

2012
Enter 2012 in Google and you get about 195,000,000 results. I agree, speculation and debate will continue to heat up as the date arrives.
Humanity has this recurring fascination with predicting the end of the world or huge changes - it has happened a number of times before.
We all remember the big Millennium scare.
Now with the Swine Flu many are getting into a tremendous panic about that.
It doesn't mean, though, that there won't be a real huge change this time, of course.
Like that saying,
“Just cause I'm paranoid, doesn't mean they aren't out to get me”.
I think that something will happen in 2012 but it will not be as noticeable as people believe.
2012 will come and go without those ancient prophecies seeming to have been fulfilled.
The seeds of a new world will be sewn in or near 2012 but it will take humanity a good long while to realize the full potential of said seeds.
So, what do you all think? How would you respond?

Religion.
What's the most positive thing that religion offer?
All paths lead to the same God, but all paths can lead away as well.
Religion is as you like it and it's entirely your choice.
Essentially, if you choose a religion to guide you to God, be prepared for that meeting to occur outside the church.
This is called the church of the mind and you can go there anytime you choose.
I go there everyday.

PHYSICAL INTIMACY
Is love dry without physical intimacy?
Love and Lust are different kinds of emotions.
Love is an emotion positive in nature while the latter is negative.
If you do things that are physically intimate
(necking, kissing, fondling, etc.)
And you are in love with each other then, it is just passion.
It becomes malicious if you feel lust.
Physical intimacy is a medium of conveying love between lovers.
I think it is necessary.
Even a peck on the cheek of the person you love is already something.
Hug, holding hands, a simple kiss - all of these are signs of love and affection.

Age is just a number.
"The body is at its best between the ages of 30 and 35; the mind at its best about the age of 49." - AristotleHow old do you feel?
Do you think you act older or younger than your age?
I act ages and ages old.
I act like a King with no country to take care of.
I just act like I need to, and sometimes like I ought not.
Depends on when where and what my state of mind is.
I don't really know what people at certain ages are supposed to act like, from what I think I understand, then at my age I don't act it.
But I am aware that i am growing older.
Who determines what is the right or wrong way to 'act' as you get older in 'age'!?
As a person who believes we have a soul I don't know how old i really am anyway. I do act my age in some ways, because I groan and limp a lot more. Peace
Live and appreciate every moment - live a youthful life as age is just a number :)

Bored.
To me, boredom is a state of mind.

When I feel bored, I know there is something I need to focus on, or need to clear out.
This is when I will go, sit & be still within myself.
Just listen to my breath.
Not try to control it.
Just pay attention to my breath.
Eventually my mind becomes clear, the feeling of boredom subsides and I gain some form of insight into what my higher self wants me to really be focusing on.
So, What do you do when you're bored?

Give Peace A Chance.
What gets in the way of peace?
Greed. Placing blame.
The attachment to and the belief that one's point of view is the only one that should exist.
Whether in world politics, family structures, neighbors, it is all the same.
We tend to think our view of a situation, which is always skewed by ego and environment, is the only correct "answer", and we tend to need answers that suit our ego much more than we are willing to ask the right questions.
We love to place blame but how many of us look within for understanding and then act as examples.
But we sure do like the sounds of our own voices.
'xs ... back to work' and will take my one hour break : )

Enough.

I want to make a positive difference in the lives of the people I've known,
- know and will know,
- to find happiness in the things that are normally taken for granted,
- improve and do well in all the things that I do,
- to change someone's life for the better,
- to forgive the people that hurt me,
- to tell the people I love and care about how I feel and how much they mean to me,
- to keep all my promises,
- to use all my knowledge and personal attributes to help others,
- to find a way to help make someone else's wishes come true,
- to be successful and financially independent enough to be able to treat my parents to a cruise around the world,
- to save someone's life,
- to learn to say sorry,
- to write and sing my own songs and record it onto a CD : ) ,
- to live in the moment,
- and ultimately, a life with no regrets.

PORN OR NO PORN
First time I saw porn, I was eight.
I saw naked people and was like, 'what was that?
It was exciting, And then it's also a lot of curiosity.
Do you think pornography can be Tastefully done?
I don't think porn can be done tastefully.
A lot of people would disagree and see all forms of sexuality as empowering for women.
As with most areas in society, mens way is considered the best way.

That's always a question that comes up.
I don't think porn can be done tastefully.
In my opinion, promiscuity does degrade the participants involved.
There is no other attachment, no real kindness just gratification of the base human need.
A lot of people would disagree and see all forms of sexuality as empowering for women.
But I think a lot of the these we see today is seen mainly through a Patriarchal sense.
As with most areas in society, mens way is considered the best way.
Being aggressive, being the hunter, taking what you want is the looked upon as cool and sexy.
My opinion -- It's that mentality that has put us in the situations we find ourselves.
Porn is an extension of that. The man is usually the aggressor, and the woman as prey. Not only in porn but in many different aspects of media.

Animals.
It is often easy to think of things we've learned from other people, but what about lessons from other creatures?
Is there a particular animal that's taught you a lesson, be it a pet or an entire species?
Animals are like people.
They can argue with each other, and they can work together.
I like to watch the ways of different animals, and I noticed that even though they are all so different, they can get along.
I've seen many dogs and cats stay near each other peacefully, and rabbits seem to be fine with them too if they're not feeling threatened.
It could be just the nature of certain animals or the way they're brought up that makes them the way they are, but human beings are just the same.
We learn from the environment we live in and the way each person acts is different. No matter how we look physically, everyone is unique and beautiful.
The thoughts we have and the actions we take makes us who we are.

Guides and Angels.
I do believe in Angels or Guides. Although I think many of us become stuck in the words we use to express that feeling of being guided.Whether you believe in intuition, prophetic dreams, and many other senses of awareness, I believe it is all guided for our benefit. Some of us can experience the sensation of a scent and feel moved to do something specific - a scent can be that of a departed loved one and it moves us to look somewhere for an item we thought had been misplaced and there it is. Some of us feel a touch on our skin and are instantly brought back to a moment where we remember a bit of information that is necessary. And some people see angels.
Personally, I have had more than several occurrences of being guided by something other than my own consciousness. I choose to label it as little as possible since I believe strongly that while I love words and language, I do think that we tend to box ourselves into specific belief systems based on words, on labels and judgments and that what we need to do is feel more and sometimes think less. Otherwise, we run the risk of forgetting that we are here - again, in my opinion - to experience human life and all that it offers us. But that does not mean that we should be disconnected from whatever our source is, and the source often gets lost in the words we use to attempt to explain it.
One can not deny that we are connected to each other and that alone, for me, eliminates the illusion that left to our conscious minds, we can navigate the pathways of our lives on our own.
I do believe that we are our thoughts, however, I do not believe that we are even close to understanding how those thoughts appear. There are too many documented stories of people doing extraordinary things based on a hunch or a physical feeling that came over them suddenly to believe that some sort of wisdom other than our conscious selves is at place in our worlds.
And we, each of us, are someone else angel or guide in ways that perhaps we do not see. We meet, we connect in ways that might be unexplainable, we have different versions of a mutual experience, and then we move on -- guiding each others lives to a better place hopefully. And then, of course, there are experiences such as those I've had where the room is suddenly occupied by something larger than ourselves, something that consumes the air, something that lets us know in that moment that we are not alone, and that everything is going to be okay.

Our Capacity To Transform.
What was the last risk you took?
The notion of risk has to do inherently with fear - of survival, of failure, of anything going wrong, of loss, of safety...
When, what I do, becomes a risk? Maybe, when - statistically - the possibilities of my desired outcome are lower? or when I simply measure it in the "likelihood of occurrence of a hazard".
On the emotional plane, I guess, in common slang I have been taking a lot of risks. But, when I've changed my attitude toward what is and might possibly be happening, when I welcome whatever might come the way it might come, then, what I possibly could have seen as a risk in the first place, becomes now a new life adventure, a new learning experience. If one thing doesn't work out.. well, then there is a another. One door closes, another open.
And even talking about physical risks, let's say, jumping out of an airplane. The risk that the parachute doesn't open, well it is there. But this is merely inherent of the act itself. By knowing and accepting the possibilities you just do that, doing what is expected, doing what is "part of the deal".
Getting in a car is a risk. The probabilities of an accident are much higher than we actually think. But we don't really think about it. We change our way of seeing the act and we generally don't watch the possibilities of a risk; contrary: we actually feel confident.
What I am trying to stress out, is that labeling something with risk, has definitely to do with our attitude toward what we are doing (or not doing). We can change, not only the possibilities of "failure" by thinking of the outcome in a mostly positive way (vs. fearful), but also by being open to accept a completely different outcome, which would immediately transform the notion of risk into 'being part of the wonders of life'.
By all what I have done and "risked" in my life, there is never ever any moment where I think "Oh, I wish I wouldn't have done it.."
And by having said this.. and emptying my confused head into the keyboard, looking desperately for the right words in a language which is not mine (yet), I must say, that the last risk I took was writing this little blog here.. who knows if that makes any sense and if anybody might understand..

Smile.
Anger.
Sometimes after becoming angry I feel energized and creative. It is like a sudden, powerful, violent, short summer storm.
Just as suddenly it is over and I feel renewed and energized. I will need to talk about it afterward. Think with someone about what caused it and whether some action is required.
Ask the questions:
Is it something I can change? If not, what can I change?
Often I end up seeing the absurdity of it all and end up laughing.
Personal relationships don't bring out my anger.
I just get hurt and depressed.
