Listening to music has been a pleasure for me since I was a kid. Its one thing that stimulates something in you. Music gives opinions in your mind but hidden in a melody. It imparts story, a story full of reality, fantasy or sarcasm. It not only draws the mind but it touches the soul and heart.Music has been walking with me for the longest time. I often listen Music when I'm tired, I feel so relaxed and don't want to think about any thing. When I’m going to work or strolling in the mall... My mobile phone (don’t have mp3 or an I pod) with a good pair of earphones has been keeping me company. For some reasons I really get bored traveling without it. Of course not with my friends that's a different story (my friends are really awesome company).
Just a week ago I guess, I got these songs from a friend. I heard these songs before but couldn’t realize how great these songs are --well music has to grow in you sometimes --that day while traveling going to work I listened to them. Its a song by Switchfoot - This is your Life… I was like blown away by this song. It’s like this thing is talking to me. I don’t want to type my problems here but I’m sure it is one problem one way or another all of us has. The song speaks about not giving up. It speaks of being driven by your purpose. Its commands the listener to keep enduring, learn and forget the past and desire a vision of who you want to be. The lyric goes like "don’t close your eyes! This is your life. Are you who you want to be? This is you life. Is it everything you dreamed that it would be. When the world was younger and you had everything to lose. --I did sing when I wrote the lyrics down :) I am imparting this blog because this song encourages me a lot. Try listening to this song.
