Can you tell a joke well?
I can't even if my life depended on it! Some folks are gifted at this, creative expressions and the climax all leading to the punch line. All this theatrics makes a joke good even if it is a groaner!
I can't remember them either, even the real good ones and even when I beg myself too…I just can't! Than I do the worst of all, try to repeat it anyway and hack it up and lead with the punch line! Than I try to recover by saying something like, “trust me, it was really funny!”
can sarcasm be treated as a joke?

when all else fails, just try the "wala ka sa lolo ko" line...

I agree with Raye, sarcasm is funny. It doesn't take much theatrics, but given the proper audience, sarcasm is such a gas.

I could write something funny, but just like you, if my life depended on it, if asked to tell a joke, I'd probably put in front of the line for beheading.

ReplyDeleteI'm usually pretty good at it because I have an excellent memory for words, just…not really important things that I actually NEED to remember. xD
My brother refuses to tell jokes because he can't remember them and they always seem to turn into “you had to be there” stories.
The beauty of this board is that you get to copy and paste them!
