~Father Anthony De Mello
What I want most is a harmonious relationship
between my heart and my head.
between my heart and my head.
The heart says “I want this, this is my desire” and the head says, “No you don’t” and the heart says “Yes I do” and the head says “Don’t (sticking out tongue)”.
Yes, I know how that seesaw feels!
Usually for me it’s because I’m not yet clear about my desire.
But when I am clear then I move in that direction and the head follows.
I hope we find that harmony right now.
i wonder what it is that the head and the heart is debating?
ReplyDeletehmmmm
harmony it is---a balance between our rational and emotional self. That's the best thing we can achieve. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteHhmm, do what is right. It's not good din maging too emotional. ;)

ReplyDeletehmmm... ang sabi naman ng prof ko... the heart only pumps blood and has nothing to do with our feelings. it's just that the brain needs something to blame its faults on. kaya pag nagkamali ang utak, ang sinisisi ay puso. poor heart. hehe. hope you find clarity parekoy.
