Do you think you act older or younger than your age?
I act ages and ages old.
I act like a King with no country to take care of.
I just act like I need to, and sometimes like I ought not.
Depends on when where and what my state of mind is.
I don't really know what people at certain ages are supposed to act like, from what I think I understand, then at my age I don't act it.
But I am aware that i am growing older.
Who determines what is the right or wrong way to 'act' as you get older in 'age'!?
As a person who believes we have a soul I don't know how old i really am anyway. I do act my age in some ways, because I groan and limp a lot more. Peace

Hhmm, i just turned 25 and everybody's telling me that's quarter of a century. Eeww, as if i wanna be alive in the next 75 years! haha
ReplyDelete22 pa lang ako pero ang dami dami ko nang mga plano sa buhay at masyado na talaga akong futuristic.. ganunpaman, pag pinagmamasadan ko yung mga mga kaedad ko, p[arang easy go lucky pa rin sila.. hindi ko tuloy alam kung pinahihirapan ko lang ang sarili ko o dapat gayahin ko na lang din sila...

guys, do not fret. you're definitely younger than i am. lol. but besides the thought of "about-to-reach-mid-30s", i think about how i've done almost everything i can in my younger years - and i can say, i truly enjoyed it to the fullest. :D

ReplyDeleteAt times, I think and act far older than my numerical age would deem possible, then I would offset it with an act so juvenile you would think I were retarded. :-)
ReplyDeleteIt doesn't matter much how old you are, what is important is how old (or young) you feel. Dwelling on the statistics never did anyone much good. I'm reminded of a quote stating that "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional." Funny, but true.

i'm already 25 and the way i act depends on who i'm with.

but when i'm with my angels, i act like a kid. that may include some whinning and tantrums... lol.
25 here. agree, its a hassle having to act differently on certain ages. its like theres an unwritten rule that you have to be like this and like that when youre at age __. it just takes away one's individuality by doing such things. i do act maturely when the need arises so indeed, "age is just a number"
